Anthony Njokuani vs. Roger Bowling
Our second of two Facebook prelims comes up next in the lightweight division between Anthony Njokuani (15-7) and Roger Bowling (11-3). The third man inside the Octagon will be Herb Dean.
Round 1: Njokuani looking very concerned with Bowling’s wrestling, staying high and looking to keep him from shooting. Now, Njokuani looking for offensive-oriented, but Bowling fires off a huge strike. Straight jab lands by Njokuani, but he misses on an overhand right before connecting with a lead body shot. Bowling comes right back, just missing a big body kick. Njokuani catches a kick, but eats a right for his effort. Takedown by Bowling scores as we approach a minute left and he starts to attack. Njokuani gets back up and goes on the offensive, finishing strong.

Round 2: Njokuani catches a kick and gets his own takedown, but is unable to capitalize. High kick by Njokuani gets through, as does a stiff right. Good exchange, as both land jabs and quick kicks. Bowling drops levels and hits the body, nearly forcing Njokuani to double-over. And just like that, this one is over, as Njokuani times a hook perfectly and walks away, dropping Bowling. Another insane and incredible finish.
