Matt Brown Only Looking Ahead

Matt Brown isn’t concerned about records and is focused on the fight that is ahead.

“The fact is, every time I go in there, that’s what I’m looking to do,” said Brown on MMA Junkie Radio. “So basically all I did is what I planned on doing, which isn’t a big deal. At this point, I’m looking more toward the future.”

Later today, Brown takes on Jordan Mein to open the main card of UFC on FOX 7.

Brown spent last year taking four fights. He won each of them and finished three in the second round thanks to his hands.

Mein went 2-1 for Strikeforce before entering the UFC last month. He’s making a quick turnaround since he finished Dan Miller in round one of UFC 158.

The main card on FOX starts at 8 p.m. ET and comes from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. FightLine will be there live with play-by-play and news to follow.
