With just days until Ramsey Nijem enters the Octagon opposite Myles Jury, his attitude is beginning to change.
“My tone definitely changes fight week when I’m doing an interview,” said Nijem to Bloody Elbow. “I’m a little bit more angry probably, and I’m like, I’m just gonna kick his a–.”
Nijem has won his last three since losing in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 13. Two of those wins were by decisions and a TKO over C.J. Keith.
Jury is undefeated with 11 wins, two of which came out of the UFC last year. The most recent was at December’s UFC 155 with a decision to Michael Johnson.
The lightweights are set for the preliminary end of UFC on FOX 7. It’s this Saturday, April 20, from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA.
