Former DREAM middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi could be returning to 185 pounds – if his Twitter followers believe it to be a good move.
Mousasi, who debuted in the UFC recently by defeating Ilir Latifi, hinted at a drop from light heavyweight. The 27-year-old is also a former Strikeforce 205-pound champion.
“Hey everybody, what you think about if I go to 185?” Mousasi asked on Twitter. “I am curious what people think about this idea.”
Mousasi made it known that he suffered a knee injury in training that would likely force him to undergo surgery in the near future. He is 34-3-2 in his MMA career, including a 21-1-1 mark in his last 24.
