TUF 17 Finale Draws 1.71 Million Viewers

The third – and final – Ultimate Fighter Finale to air on FX generated 1.71 million viewers, tops of the three that aired on the network. TUF will move to FOX Sports 1 beginning in September.

The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale witnessed Kelvin Gastelum defeat Uriah Hall, while the main event for the card featured Urijah Faber topping Scott Jorgensen.

FX ranked No. 1 in the male 18-34 demographic, while male 18-49 was the highest-rated basic cable and second overall programming for the evening.

“This was a great way to end The Ultimate Fighter’s run on FX,” said Chuck Saftler, Executive Vice President, FX Networks. “I want to thank Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and Frank Fertitta, as well as Craig Piligian, on three amazing seasons of the series. I wish them all nothing but the best in their move to FOX Sports 1.”

TUF 17 as a series averaged 1.32 million total viewers for each episode, an increase over the previous season.
