Brock Larson Wasn’t Trading Blows With Melvin Manhoef

Brock Larson knew standing with Melvin Manhoef wasn’t the best idea. Instead, he used takedowns to earn the decision win in the co-main event of ONE FC: Kings and Champions.

“I knew I wasn’t going to be able to do it by standing and trading with him, so I took my time, got my takedowns and won the fight,” said Larson to MMA Weekly.

Now with four straight wins, Larson is 37-7. He was released by the UFC in 2009 after back-to-back losses.

Manhoef is 1-1-1 for ONE FC. A cut on Manhoef’s leg ended his Yoshiyuki Nakanishi bout and he finished Denis Kang in under a minute with a TKO.

Larson’s next fight hasn’t been revealed.

ONE FC: Kings and Champions was April 5 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It attracted over 10,000 fans.
