With Urijah Faber ranked as one of the top bantamweights in the world, some have doubted that Scott Jorgensen will be able to stop him on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 Finale. Jorgensen’s fine with that role as he plans to leave an impression with his actions.
“I’m going to play spoiler,” said Jorgensen to Bleacher Report. “I know a lot of people are giving me no chance to win this fight. Everybody loves Urijah and I’m going in there to play spoiler.”
Jorgensen comes in going 1-2 last year. He capped off December by taking Fighting of the Night and Submission of the Night over John Albert with one second remaining in the opening round.
Faber is 3-2 for the UFC with losses to champions Dominick Cruz and Renan Barao. He last fought in late February.
Jorgensen vs. Faber headlines TUF 17 Finale. It happens in a few hours from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV. FightLine will be there with the play-by-play and news that follows.
