As Will Campuzano gets older, he sees his skill set getting better. He will look to prove that when he defends his Legacy FC flyweight championship against Allan Nascimento later today.
“I feel like things are coming around,” said Campuzano to MMA Weekly. “I used to be real hesitant because of a lack of skills, but I’ve put a lot of work in and I’m pulling the trigger now, and that’s what’s important.”
After going 1-4 for the WEC and UFC, Campuzano was released. He took two wins before becoming the inaugural champion with a second round TKO over Jimmy Flick in December.
Nascimento is 7-0 with six submission wins.
Campuzano vs. Nascimento are a go for Legacy FC 19 from the Allen Event Center in Dallas TX. It occurs later in the day with a main card that airs on AXS TV.
