DJ Linderman knows heading into today’s Legacy FC 19 that Robert Drysdale will be going for the submission. Drysdale has won all his fights via submission in the first round.
“Going into fight a guy like Drysdale, I’ve been working on a lot of submission defense, submission offense, so I can mix it up with him,” said Linderman to MMA Weekly. “I’m not just going to be on the defensive end of it.”
Linderman enters with losses in Bellator and the World Series of Fighting. Anthony Johnson handed him a first round defeat in his light heavyweight debut in November.
Drysdale has three armbars, a guillotine choke and arm triangle choke to his name. His longest fight went the 2:54 mark.
The two meet later today, April 12, from the Allen Event Center in Dallas, TX.
