Gabriel Gonzaga Promises Knockout Or Submission Win

Gabriel Gonzaga fought his way back into the UFC after a string of losses. Since returning, Gonzaga won a pair of fights by way of submission with neither going past round two. He plans the same when he meets Travis Browne.

“I’m going to win the fight by knockout or submission,” said Gonzaga to TATAME. “Do not like to leave in the hands of the judges. I really want to win to put me in the Top 10 heavyweights.”

Back at UFC 74, Gonzaga lost a heavyweight championship fight to Randy Couture.

Since returning, Gonzaga defeated Ednaldo Oliveira to start 2012 and began this year with an early round two guillotine choke over Ben Rothwell.

Browne comes in at 13-1 after tearing his left hamstring against now No. 1 contender Antonio “Big Foot” Silva in October.

They are set for Saturday’s The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale, which is out of the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.
