As Dan Hardy waits for the opinion of a second doctor if it’s safe for him to return to the sport since being diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, one former foe in Duane Ludwig thinks he’ll land some sort of deal with the UFC regardless of the results
“He’s locked up a bit tighter with the UFC than I was, so I’m sure he’ll have some good business ventures and doors opening to him that will be opened by the UFC or Zuffa,” said Ludwig to Bloody Elbow. “I really like Dan a lot and I hope he has a long healthy career and life.”
At UFC 146, Hardy earned Knockout of the Night for finishing Ludwig in the first round.
Ludwig suffered three straight first round stoppages last year. He is now the lead coach with Team Alpha Male.
Hardy was pulled from his Matt Brown contest when the original diagnoses came in.
