No matter where Miesha Tate takes the fight with Cat Zingano it won’t matter. Zingano is certain that she’s better than the former Strikeforce champion.
“I have something she’s not going to be able to handle in every scenario,” said Zingano to ESPN. “I’m very confident in everything that I bring into the cage. Miesha Tate has no area in which I feel she is stronger than me. I’m a few levels above her.”
Zingano pointed out that she’s more disciplined when it comes to standing, groundwork, positioning and conditioning.
The two meet on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 Finale. The winner gets the next women’s bantamweight title shot and becomes a coach on TUF. Champion Ronda Rousey has already been named as one of the two coaches.
Zingano vs. Tate is this Saturday, April 13, out of the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.
