Miesha Tate is expecting pure madness on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). For the first time ever, females and males will compete on the reality show.
“I think it’s going to be Real World meets TUF and I don’t know,” said Tate on The MMA Hour. “I have this idea or joke actually that all the girls are going to be lesbians or hooking up with all the girls.”
Before Tate gets the chance to coach, she must beat Cat Zingano for the other spot. They fight on TUF 17 Finale.
Zingano enters undefeated with seven wins. Only once were the judges needed and she comes in submitting Raquel Pennington for Invicta FC.
Tate is a former Strikeforce champion and is 13-3. She was defeated by Ronda Rousey in 2012.
Rousey will be the other coach on the show.
This Saturday, April 13, it’s Tate vs. Zingano on the main card. It comes from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.
