Former Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard has had some issues since joining the ranks of the UFC, posting a 1-2 record. Lombard, an ex-Olympian, could be thinking about a potential drop to welterweight, as he confirmed on Twitter recently that he has enlisted the help of Mike Dolce.
Dolce, the creator of The Dolce Diet, has worked with several UFC and MMA fighters over the years to help get them into fighting shape.
“Looking forward to be working with Mke Dolce!” he wrote. Of course, he could also just be working to prepare his body for the wars of 185 pounds, too.
Lombard lost his Octagon debut to Tim Boetsch, but rebounded to finish Rousimar Palhares to close out 2012. However, earlier this year, he was defeated by Yushin Okami.
