Brad Pickett was able to put on a Fight of the Night performance in a battle of Top-10 bantamweights Saturday with Mike Easton. In the end, Pickett had his hand raised in victory.
Now, “One Punch” wants to test his skills against a fighter ranked above him, as he told the post-fight show on FUEL TV.
“I always get people below me,” Pickett said. “Maybe somebody like Michael McDonald would be a good fight. Anyone above me, give me somebody above me.”
McDonald was defeated by interim UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao recently, so the timing could work out for the two to square off if officials so desire.
As for Pickett, he felt like he was able to mix up his skills vs. Easton, adding, “I looked to change things up. I think it went well for me (Saturday).”
