Fallon Fox, the transgendered fighter who has grabbed headlines the last 30 days, wants a spot in the UFC but won’t be trying out for The Ultimate Fighter because she surpasses the 35 year old age limit.
At 37, Fox currently has a contract with CFA that she must fulfill according to her manager Brett Atchley. The contract is for two years or four more fights within the next two years.
“I think everybody [dreams of fighting in the UFC] and of course she does,” said Atchley to MMA Fighting. “If her career allows it, she would do it.”
UFC president Dana White has said that Fox is far from a UFC contract and needs to beat fighters who actually have winning records. If the UFC doesn’t have interest, Fox would compete for Invicta FC said Atchley.
Fox returns for CFA on May 24 when she meets Allana Jones in the semifinals to name their inaugural women’s champion. She’s also been debating about cutting from featherweight to bantamweight.
