Back to the welterweights, as Ben Alloway (13-3) takes on a debuting Ryan LaFlare (7-0). Kristian Hacklou is the referee for this one.

Round 1: LaFlare scores first with a body lock takedown, and working some nice punches from side control. Alloway gets to his feet and connects with some knees to the body, and follows up with a takedown of his own. LaFlare gets an elbow through the guard, passing and looking for a potential arm triangle as the round winds down.

Round 2: LaFlare with a takedown from the clinch. He works very quickly to get that and it is very smooth, nicely down. Alloway lands an upkick, but LaFlare quickly pounces again and into half-guard. North-South position, and LaFlare hints at a possible armlock. Alloway throws a big elbow that lands, his best shot of the fight. LaFlare answers with a combo and a kick. Kick from LaFlare drops him and he goes for the attack. Big elbow from Alloway connects.

Round 3: Alloway appears the fresher fighter, throws a big kick to start the round. LaFlare, though, scores with a takedown and works to side control. Alloway continues to hint at a triangle, but is unable to get it. No real damage done by LaFlare. Two minutes left, Alloway stuffs a takedown and moves to the back, but LaFlare escapes and avoids a triangle attempt.
