With one blemish on his 10 fight record, Brandon Thatch believes the UFC could call at any moment. To help improve his skills, the welterweight has been training with one of the best in Georges St-Pierre
“I’ve been training with Georges at Tristar and I train at Grudge in Colorado,” said Thatch on MMA Junkie Radio. “I train with UFC athletes all the time and I feel like I’m at the same level – or if not, just a little under. I feel like I’m ready for the big leagues, and there’s no reason I couldn’t compete [in the UFC].”
Thatch has plenty of confidence after taking a first round submission win last month at RFA 7. Not one of his nine wins has gone past the 4:12 mark. Six of those wins ended in under a minute.
Thatch has no new opponent as he keeps an eye out for a message from the UFC.
