Marcus Brimage is currently untouched inside the Octagon and is ready for some topnotch level competition. He feels the fighters that are fed to him are supposed to win in the UFC’s eyes.
“They keep using me as a stepping-stone,” said Brimage on MMA Fight Corner. “They think I suck. They keep using me as a stepping stone, but if I keep beating you and you suck, then that means you really suck.”
Brimage joined the UFC and immediately cut to featherweight in December 2011. He has taken all three wins via decision over Stephen Bass, Maximo Blanco and Jimy Hettes.
He takes on Conor McGregor at UFC on FUEL TV 9. McGregor was Cage Warrior’s featherweight and lightweight champion at the time of his signing. He holds eight straight wins and a 12-2 record.
UFC on FUEL TV 9 is April 6 from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Sweden.
