D.J. Linderman Vacates Cage Warriors Title, Seeks Two Belts In Legacy FC

D.J. Linderman has made the decision to vacate his Cage Warriors heavyweight championship. He will now pursue Legacy FC’s light heavyweight and heavyweight division. Linderman hopes to thicken his record and return to the World Series of Fighting (WSOF), after being knocked out on their debut show by Anthony Johnson.

He takes on jiu-jitsu expert Rober Drysdale at Legacy FC 19.

“With a win over Drysdale, I should have my shot at either the heavyweight or the light heavyweight title,” said Linderman on MMA Junkie Radio.

Linderman had three wins in a row before that WSOF loss, making him 14-4. Drysdale has submitted all five of his opponents within three minutes of round one. His last two wins came for Legacy FC last year.

Legacy FC 19 is April 12 from the Allen Event Center in Allen, TX. The main card airs live on AXS TV.
