Cain Velasquez doesn’t run his mouth, rather he lets his fist do the talking. While he may not do much trash talking, he isn’t against it. One of his favorite smack talkers is Chael Sonnen.
“If it works for them, why not?” said Velasquez on FOX News. “I think [Chael Sonnen] uses it in a good way. For me, I think it’s funny how he talks trash.”
Sonnen is always vocal and hasn’t disappointed in his current feud with Jon Jones. Jones will put his light heavyweight championship against a much heavier Sonnen at UFC 159. It comes from the Prudential Center on April 27 in Newark, NJ.
As for Velasquez, he makes the first defense of his second heavyweight title run opposite Antonio “Big Foot” Silva. That championship fight headlines UFC 160 out of the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on May 25.
