After some uncertainty if the second World Series of Fighting (WSOF) event would go off due to issues with the cage not meeting the standards according to the NJASC, everything settled and they put on a 12 card fight.
Andrei Arlovski once again headlined, but suffered a loss this time to Anthony Johnson in a split-decision. It snapped Arlovski’s four fight win streak and was Johnson’s debut as heavyweight.
In the co-main event, Marlon Moraes took his second WSOF win as he needed three minutes to TKO Tyson Nam. The defeat was Nam’s first since defeating Bellator’s bantamweight champion in a non-title fight over the summer.
Five fights consisted of the main card which aired on the NBC Sports Network. WSOF 2 came from Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ earlier today.
