SFL Co-Founder Heads To Jail Over Terrorist Charges

Bollywood star and co-founder of India’s Super Fight League (SFL), Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced to five years in prison. It stemmed from his connection with the 1993 Mumbai, India bombings that killed 257 people and injured more.

His first stint behind bars was in 1993 and lasted 18 months. He was initially arrested under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act.

Dutt was convicted in 2007 and had been out pending appeal.

SFL has held 13 shows to date since their inception in March of last year. The next show is scheduled for next Friday, March 29. No venue has been secured. Xavier Foupa Pokam vs. John Troyer is the main event. It can be seen live in India through Star Sports.
