After seven years, Jordan Mein finally joined the UFC and made quick work of Dan Miller. With that win five days out, Mein looks to stay in shape as he prepares for his next fight.
“I’m already back to training, just doing nothing too crazy,” said Mein on MMA Junkie Radio. “You’ve got to rest your body, but I’m just doing some repping and more ground stuff and a little bit of weights. I’m healthy, so I want to fight right away.”
It took 34 fights for Mein to earn his spot in the UFC. With a 2-1 record in Strikeforce, he entered the Octagon against the veteran Miller. Of his 15 fights since 2010, only twice has Mein not left as the victor.
Miller is now 6-6 for the UFC. The stoppage to Mein was the first of his career.
There are no confirmed fights scheduled for either fighter.
