John Makdessi thinks his latest performance at UFC 158 could finally land him on the PPV part of a card. He defeated Daron Cruickshank via unanimous decision.
“I believe I can give an exciting fight and at the end of the day that’s what it’s about,” said Makdessi to MMA Fighting. “I believe I can give a good fight for the fans. It’s up to the UFC, whatever they want. It doesn’t bother me.”
Out of his six UFC fights, Makdessi has jumped between the Facebook and televised part of the preliminary card. He’s yet to land a spot on the main card. Makdessi now rides a pair of wins with the other being against Sam Stout in November.
Cruickshank had his six fight win streak ended at yesterday’s show. Last year, he debuted for the UFC and took two wins.
The bantamweights opened the preliminary end of UFC 158 that aired on FX.
