Fallon Fox isn’t excited that she must hand over her medical records sine she was named as a transgender fighter in an attempt to keep her fight license. She doesn’t think that’s right to disclose confidential material as she is considered a female in the medical and science community.
To help transform from a male to female, Fox went through hormone replacement therapy that has proven she has no advantages over fighters of the female gender. Still some fighters, including her next scheduled opponent Allanna Jones, don’t want to fight a female who was once a male.
“I don’t want to fight those people because they’re scared and what kind of fight would that be,” said Fox on Inside MMA. “I want to fight someone who will come at me aggressively and wants a good fight.”
Fox continues to sit on the sides as she waits for word on what’s next in her fighting career, or if she will even have one.
After her last fight two weeks ago, Fox’s secret was revealed by a Sports Illustrated reporter and not the actual fighter who had kept that information private.
