Fallon Fox has already hit a snag after it was revealed earlier in the month that she was transgender. Her next opponent in the Championship Fighting Alliance (CFA) tournament, Allanna Jones, doesn’t think it’s a fair match.
“It doesn’t matter what he had changed,” said Jones to TMZ. “He was still born and developed a man.”
Fox had sufficient surgical procedures and medical therapies to be considered a female, but Jones thinks she’s taking attention from the actual competitors.
“[WMMA] is just making a name for itself and this will have a negative impact on it,” said Jones.
The tournament is currently in the semifinal stage. Fox needed 39 seconds to knockout Ericka Newsome. Jones took a split-decision over Kelsey De Santis.
