Steve Magdaleno Must Go For The Finish At Today’s BAMMA

Steve Magdaleno’s last two fights fell through when one opponent no showed and the other bout didn’t happen due to rescheduling of the event. That won’t be an issue today as he takes on Chris Culley at BAMMA 8.

Finally being able to secure a fight, Magdaleno wants to make it count.

“The way I win is very important to me,” said Magdaleno to MMA Weekly. “If I get a boring decision it’s not going to help me, but if I get a knockout or submission and make it look good, it will help me. I think I have to make a statement to get anywhere in this sport.”

In his last three fights, he left a statement with knockout wins. He took a pair of wins last year, finishing Tom Gloudeman in the first round for his BAMMA debut. Culley went 2-2 last year, taking a third round stoppage in his two outings for the promotion.

The event airs later today, March 15, from the Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA.
