A middleweight bout between Chris Leben and Andrew Craig is in the works for UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman, according to a report on UFC Tonight Tuesday.
The card takes place July 6 from Las Vegas. Anderson Silva is set to defend his UFC middleweight title in the main event against Chris Weidman.
Leben (22-9) returned from a year-long suspension for a failed drug test to face Derek Brunson in December. “The Crippler” was defeated, dropping him to 1-2 in his last three overall.
“Can’t wait guys,” Leben posted on Twitter after the announcement.
Craig (8-1) suffered his first career defeat at the hands of Ronny Markes earlier this year. He defeated Rafael Natal and Kyle Noke in 2012 inside the Octagon.
