At 51-years-old, Herschel Walker isn’t ready to call it an MMA career as he hopes to land one final fight for the UFC. The Olympian last fought over two years ago.
“I would love to do it again,” said Herschel Walker on The Lavar Arrington Show with Chad Dukess. “Because I’m a little bit older and I have a business going, I would like to do one more fight and then, I think, it’s time for me step aside and give it to the young people. But I would love to do one more fight.”
The former Heisman Trophy winner went 2-0 in his short career. Both wins came by TKO and was out of Strikeforce. He defeated Greg Nagy in early 2010 and a year later did the same thing to Scott Carson.
UFC president Dana White didn’t respond to the request.
