An injury has knocked Ryan Bader out of a planned UFC 160: Velasquez vs. Silva II fight with Glover Teixeira, UFC officials announced Monday. In Bader’s place will step James Te Huna.
Te Huna (16-5) has won five of his six UFC bouts, including a recent win over Joey Beltran. His lone loss came at the hands of Alexander Gustafsson, and he has won four straight since.
Teixeira (20-2) is a perfect 3-0 since joining the UFC, including a win over former champion Quainton “Rampage” Jackson. No word yet on the injury that knocked Bader out.
