Thanh Vu Respects Each Fighter The Same

It took four tries before ONE FC could find an opponent for Thanh Vu at their last show in February. In the end, Vu took a quick TKO over Mohd Fouzein.

“They assured me they would have a match up, so I just prepared all the same,” said Vu to “I was just happy to fight and get the win, whether it was a known opponent or not didn’t matter to me as I respect anyone who steps into the cage.”

Now with a 3-1 record, Vu enters the semifinals of the ONE FC bantamweight grand prix to meet Kevin Belingon.

Belingon is 1-1 for ONE FC since he joined them last year. The winner of that fight meets either Jens Pulver or Masakatsu Ueda, who compete on the same card. The finals will take place on another show.

Vu vs. Belingon happens at ONE FC: Kings and Champions on April 5 as the promotion returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Across Asia, it can be seen on Star Sports and is available elsewhere via online stream for $9.99.
