Michael Bisping, like many, wasn’t impressed with the Dan Henderson vs. Lyoto Machida match at UFC 157. He pointed out that when Henderson can’t connect with his patented right hand, his chances of winning diminish.
“I’m not saying Dan isn’t a good fighter, because he is, and he was good enough to knock me out, but if he doesn’t land that big shot, he doesn’t really have a Plan B,” said Bisping to Bloody Elbow. “If he can’t land it, as we saw the other night, he comes up short.”
At UFC 100, Henderson knocked Bisping out in a title eliminator fight. Bisping has lost two other title eliminator fights since, with the most recent coming from Vitor Belfort. In January, Bisping took a TKO loss to Belfort in the second round.
Bisping returns at UFC 159 opposite Alan Belcher on April 27. It comes from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
