Fallon Fox Allowed To Stay In CFA Tournament, Says Owner Jorge De La Noval

Champioship Fighting Alliance (CFA) owner Jorge De La Noval found out Monday morning that his recent fighter is transgender. Noval stood by Fallon Fox, who took a quick win to advance in a tournament to crown their inaugural 145 pound champion.

“We don’t hand out licenses” said Noval. “That’s a government body that does that, they give out licenses. She’s licensed as a female, on her driver’s license she’s a female, the government recognizes her as a female, so we recognize her as a female. As long as she has a license, we’re going to stand behind her.”

Fox will remain in the tournament. Allanna Jones, Peggy Morgan and Ashlee Evans-Smith made it to the semifinals as well, all by decision at CFA 10 last week. The winner also takes $20,000.

There has been no decision by Fox if she will remove herself from the tournament.
