Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp thinks that Fallon Fox should have revealed to her opponents that she is transgender.
“I really do 100 percent believe in full disclosure,” said Knapp to MMA Junkie. “The person standing across from her has the right to choose whether they want to take that fight with full disclosure. That is a stance that I feel very strongly about.”
After news broke that Fox is transgender, it raises many questions about her spot in the sport and how she was able to get by athletic commissions for so long without them knowing.
Knapp wasn’t sure what to make of Fox’s situation, but didn’t say that she plans to bring her aboard Invicta FC. Fox is currently deciding on her next move.
Fox is undefeated in her MMA career with two professional wins and one amateur. All have ended in round one with the most recent taking 39 seconds against Ericka Newsome at CFA 10 last week.
