Two previously announced bouts for UFC 161: Barao vs. Wineland have been made official by the promotion, as Jake Shields vs. Tyron Woodley and Pat Barry vs. Shawn Jordan were confirmed.
The UFC went to work on Wednesday, announcing several fights for the coming months. UFC 161 takes place JUne 15 from Winnipeg.
Shields (27-6-1) will be returning to welterweight after a one-fight stint at middleweight. Woodley (11-1) scored a quick knockout of Jay Hieron in his Octagon debut last month.
Barry (8-5) and Jordan (14-4) are both looking to make a statement in the UFC’s heavyweight division. Barry has posted a 5-5 Octagon mark, while Jordan has won two of three since joining the promotion.
