When the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) holds their second show, Danillo Villefort wants more than just a win. He looks to end the fight and draw blood.
“From the first second of the fight until it ends, I’m looking for the finish,” said Villefort to Bleacher Report. “It is going to be really bloody. I’m going to try to rip his head off and I’m sure he’s looking to do the same to me.”
It will be Villefort vs. The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) alum Kris McCray on the card.
Villefort hasn’t fought since August 2011 after going down with three torn ligaments in his shoulder. That last fight was for Strikeforce, in what would be his only appearance for them.
McCray made it to the finals of the TUF, but lost. Two more defeats and he was released. Last year, he went 1-1 with a split-decision win for Bellator.
WSOF 2 takes place from Revel Casino on March 23. The NBC Sports Network will air the card.
