Pawel Nastula Headed To KSW

Pawel Nastula returns to MMA as he debuts for Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW). The 1996 Olympic gold medalist takes on Minnesota’s Kevin Asplund at KSW 22.

Nastula comes into the fight with three first round wins. In his early MMA days, he competed out of PRIDE with losses to Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, Alexander Emelianenko and Josh Barnett. He’s currently 4-4.

Asplund’s 2012 saw him take a pair of losses, with one of those coming from Bellator to Brett Rogers. Before that, he had piled 15 straight wins and was undefeated for eight years.

KSW 22 comes from the Torwar Hall in Poland on March 16. Light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz fights Goran Reljic in the main event.
