The UFC makes their second appearance in Canada later this year and first out of Winnipeg when they come from the MTS Centre on June 15. The official announcement will be made later today during a press conference.
It will be the fifth Canadian city to host a UFC event. Montreal has held five events, Toronto two, Vancouver two and Calgary one.
Before the UFC makes their presence felt in Winnipeg, they host UFC 158 out of the Bell Centre in Montreal on March 16.
UFC 158 is headlined with Georges St-Pierre having home country advantage as he takes on the returning Nick Diaz.
The June 15 card is rumored to be UFC 161. No fights have been confirmed for that event.
