Che Mills wasn’t a free agent for long. He has agreed to a contract with England’s Cage Warriors for five fights.
“Che Mills is the best UK welterweight outside of the UFC at the moment, so I’m extremely happy that he has decided to come on board,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan.
After losing in his last fight, which was later overturned to a no contest after Matt Riddle tested positive for marijuana, he was released by the UFC. That recent loss came at UFC on FUEL TV 7, when the promotion returned to England.
During his UFC stint, Mills was 2-2 with his two wins coming by TKO in round one. He took Knockout of the Night in his debut for the UFC in November 2011.
His first appearance for Cage Warriors wasn’t made public and no opponent has been revealed.
