The manager for Robbie Lawler confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that his client has signed a new multi-fight deal with the UFC. Lawler earned a win over Josh Koscheck in his return to the promotion late last month.
Monte Cox, who represents Lawler, declined to comment on the terms of the deal. Lawler (20-9) improved to 5-3 inside the Octagon when he stopped Koscheck in the first round.
“Ruthless” was awarded $105,000 for his win over the former No. 1 contender, including $95,000 to show and another $10,000 for the victory. He was one of four fighters on the card to pick up more than $100,000.
