The Bellator tournament is currently the most fascinating – and unpredictable – beast stalking the MMA world. Take this season for example, which began with veteran favorites Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal and Renato “Babalu” Sobral as locks to meet in the light-heavyweight tournament finals, and Patricio Freire destined to steamroll through the lightweight dogpile. Instead, King Mo and Babalu are afterthoughts with concussions, while Freire didn’t even make it to the quarterfinals due to injury, and was instead replaced by a dark horse named Saad Awad who’s slaughtered everyone. Yeah, that’s what tournaments are all about. You just never know. Here’s your news:
