Peggy “Daywalker” Morgan Finds MMA Suits Her Better Than Boxing

Peggy “Daywalker” Morgan dabbled in boxing, before making the move to MMA. At first, the switch in sports was a little shaky as she had trouble finding opponents but that has since changed.

“I like MMA more and having the option to grab somebody and throw them on the ground if things aren’t going my way on the feet,” said Morgan MMA Weekly.

After turning professional last year, Morgan took a decision over Kaline Medeiros. Before that she stopped her two amateur fights with a TKO and submission victory.

Morgan is now a participant in an eight women’s tournament for Championship Fighting Alliance (CFA) to crown their inaugural 145 pound champion. She takes on Revelina Berto in the opening round at CFA 10.

Berto will be making her return after being away from action since 2009 and is currently 3-0.

CFA 10 is this Saturday, March 2, from the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL. It will be streamed live via UStream.
