Patrick “Juggernaut” Ybara’s Legacy FC debut was on the short side. Just about 90 seconds into the first round and the bantamweight left the victor after locking in a flying armbar. The submission was something Ybara had planned to incorporate into his fight with Billy Buch.
“The only reason why I really hit it was because I was thinking about it the night before,” said Ybarra to MMA Weekly. “I was thinking about doing it because I wanted to make an impression on TV and [Legacy FC] being my first big promotion.”
With that win, Ybara kept his professional record a perfect 4-0. All of his wins have come by armbar submission in less than two minutes.
In a few weeks Ybara returns to Xtreme Combat Promotions, the same company where he took his first win. He is slated for a May return for Legacy FC.
Ybara’s latest win was at Legacy FC 17 from Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, TX. Their next show is this Friday, March 1, in Houston.
