Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, informed MMAjunkie.com on Tuesday that a planned UFC flyweight title match between champion Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga could be in jeopardy. The two are expected to headline The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale in April from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Kizer declined to give any further details concerning the matter, and UFC officials, Johnson and Moraga have yet to comment on the situation.
Johnson (17-2-1) earned his first title defense by besting John Dodson last month, improving his UFC record to 5-1-1. Moraga (12-1) has won both of his Octagon bouts to secure his shot at the belt.
