Cage Contender 16 was highlighted by former UFC and current Bellator fighter Paul Daley.
The main event saw Daley use a flying knee to knockout Patrick Vallee. Daley made the call to compete outside of Bellator as he is unable to obtain a visa to fly into the U.S. due to an alleged bar fight in December. It was Vallee’s third loss in a year.
In the co-main event of the evening, Ali Arish pickup his sixth straight win over Arni Isaksson. The loss makes Isaksson 2-1 for the promotion, having stopped his other fights.
