Unlike many other UFC champions, Ronda Rousey made it known who she plans to face after defeating Liz Carmouche Saturday night at UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche.
During the post-fight show on FUEL TV, the UFC female bantamweight champion stated that she plans to be in attendance in April at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale when Miesha Tate faces Cat Zingano.
“I am very interested to see the fight of Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano,” Rousey said. “I am gonna go out to watch the fight myself and am very interested in facing the winner.”
Rousey (7-0) won the Strikeforce title from Tate via armbar, and successfully defended it vs. Sarah Kaufman before signing with the UFC. Tate and Zingano will compete in the second UFC women’s fight from Las Vegas.
