Gina Carano may never fight inside the cage again, but that doesn’t mean her importance in the world of female MMA goes unnoticed.
Carano, a major motion picture movie star now, sent out a message via Twitter in regards to tonight’s UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche main event between Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche for the UFC bantamweight title.
“Can’t stop smiling,” Carano wrote. “Have a great fight tonight (Rousey, Carmouche).”
Carano (7-1) lost her last fight in 2009 to Cris Cyborg in Strikeforce. She will be in the next installment of Fast & Furious, which is released later this year.
