Arnaud Lepont and Eddie Ng will finally meet in less than two months, after the fight was postponed for over a year. Ng went down with an alleged injury, but Lepont wasn’t buying that story.
“He claimed he was hurt, that he had to go through surgery and that he cannot fight me,” said Lepont to MMA Mania. “He has not been into surgery and was still teaching and training at his gym.”
They are set to fight on the next ONE FC show in April.
Lepont is 1-1 for the promotion. His loss to Shinya Aoki in October ended his six year win streak. NG finished his two ONE FC fights in less than a total of 90 seconds. Only one of his six career fights has gone to see the second round.
The meeting happens at ONE FC: Kings and Champions on April 5, out of Singapore.
