XFC 22 Results: Future Lightweight Title Shot Determined

The Xtreme Fighting Championship (XFC) returned for the first time this year with a headliner that could possibly determine who is the No. 1 contender to the lightweight title.

In the main event, Scott Holtzman earned a decision win over Jason Hicks to remain undefeated. Holtzman is expected to challenge one-armed lightweight champion Nick Newell as a result.

Ricky Rainey took another decision in the co-main event. The win makes Rainey 2-1 for the promotion and Joseph Corneroli tasted his first defeat since turning pro in 2011.

XFC 22 took place yesterday, February 22, from the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, NC. AXS TV aired the show.
